The University of Cambridge Department of Sociology and Murray Edwards College hosted this annual memorial lecture to honour the memory of Jo Cox MP, on the 27th November 2019.
The lecture was delivered by the former Speaker of the House of Commons, Rt Hon John Bercow MP.
Jo Cox MP was a former student of Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge. She dedicated her life to helping others, campaigning tirelessly for a fairer, kinder and more tolerant world. This will be the third annual Jo Cox Memorial lecture, which celebrates Jo Cox’s life and the inspiring work she was involved with.
